Christopher Lee did these entirely in Photoshop. Love how they perhaps overly emphasize the naivete of the films. Perfect.

It’s a great teaser video for what will hopefully be a fantastic Super Bowl commercial, but what’s even more interesting is that VW is again using Star Wars to tell it’s brand story. Can’t wait to see where they go with this.

In case you missed it, Lucas had a great interview with Jon Stewart the other night regarding his latest film about The Tuskegee Airman, dubbed “Red Tails.” Had no idea about this story and how difficult it is to get a movie with all black actors funded by a major studio. Check out the entire piece here.
Thanks Chad!
In case you didn’t receive enough nerd gear for Christmas, the beloved Marc Ecko has another Star Wars collaboration available in his online store. And I must say, some of these shirts are super rad. Order now, they’re already disappearing.

A bunch of engineers at San Diego Composites built these things, each for the cost of that Nissan you’re driving. This is why nerd culture rules in the digital age: this project once would have been relegated to a dark, sperm-ridden basement, it’s now funded and supported by a firm and distributed far and wide via the web. Head here to see a write up and a bunch of nerdy photos. [via Carbon Fiber Gear]

Just in time for the holiday season Burton and Star Wars are partnering up to create a series of very limited edition snowboards. Unfortunately, these babies only come in kids sizes. Like adults don’t love Star Wars or something…Read more here. [via Burton]
We all know that adidas has the rights to Star Wars, even if the stuff they’ve been turning out with hasn’t looked half decent since round 1. Regardless, these leaked images of an unofficial Star Wars release from Nike’s SB line is apparently in the works thanks to Nike SB designer Shawn Bavareto. Unofficially, they’re designed to mimic Hoth and more specifically, the Tauntaun, although, I think they look more like the rebel snow gear. No doubt, these kicks will be highly sought after.
